Aerials workshop with Andy & Lindsay – 6th May 2017

Andy and Lindsay are back with the Cambridge Lindy Hoppers on May 6th for an airsteps workshop with a difference!

The day will be split into two sessions with the first half being mainly airstep tuition, building each move up in stages, and focussing on tips and techniques to make them flow. You’ll be shown how to set up each step following a simple Lindy figure. The second session will introduce a sequences of moves, and before you know it we’ll have a short choreographed routine!

You may have to take the routine away and practise to perform with confidence, but hopefully some of you will be brave enough to join in an end of workshop performance. The Lindy will be kept simple but musical – that’s all it takes to wow an audience! But add in the airsteps and you’ll really WOW the audience.

Join us for a day of fun and rise to the challenge. You’ll take away some impressive figures, some valuable knowledge on how to choreograph, a routine to master and maybe further develop, and memories of a great day with a great bunch of people. Are you up for the challenge? All you need is a partner, and to sign up in advance – spaces are limited so register quickly to secure one!

If you’ve got any questions or want to know more about aerials please e-mail

You must book as a couple for this workshop. The group will not change partners during the workshop, unlike our usual classes, so you should find somebody with whom you will be comfortable spending the whole workshop doing aerials with before you book.

Aerials are by their nature energetic  and people should be prepared for jumping around and very probably ending up upside-down at some points if you’re a follow. While every precaution is taken during the workshop, taking part is at your own risk.

Numbers are strictly limited for this workshop so book quickly!
