AGM 5th April 2017

The CLH Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be upon us soon, it will be held on Wednesday 5th April 2017 at St Paul’s on Hills Road at 8:30pm (during the break between the regular Wednesday Lindy classes).

As well as discussing the last year and planning for the next it is also the time when the new committee is elected. Those who would like to run for a position on the committee please email Will on will(at) no later than Sunday 3rd of April with the names of the two CLH members who have nominated you, which position it is for and a short statement about why you’d like a position. For information on the positions in the committee see the 3.1 in the constitution.

In summary the agenda will be:

  • a review of CLH activities and finances in 2016/7
  • Proposed constitution amendments (if any)
  • election of a new committee
  • any other business, general discussion and feedback

Classes Wednesday 7th December 2016

Classes on Wednesday 7th December 2016 will have a later start time due to a carol service in St Paul’s.
Beginners will start at 8:30pm and Intermediates at 9:45pm. Normal times resume the following week onward.

This month Roya and Will are covering Charleston for Beginners and Intermediates will be learning how to add texture to their dancing by by using the tone of their body to lead and follow.
