Due to popular request, we will be teaching a four-week block of Balboa and Bal Swing in March, in place of our regular Wednesday Lindy Hop classes. These classes will start at a slightly lower level than our normal classes (i.e. the beginners’ class will be suitable for absolute beginners and the intermediate class will be suitable for improvers), but they will build on each other quite a lot each week, so do try and come along for the whole block if you can make it.
Balboa is danced primarily in close embrace, and is led with a full body connection. The art of Balboa is the subtle communication between the lead and follow, like weight shifts, that most viewers cannot see. As a result, Balboa is considered more of a “dancer’s dance” than a “spectator’s dance”. (Wikipedia)
For the last class in the series (26 March) we have a special guest teacher from London - Dan Guest. Dan is one of the best Balboa dancers and teachers in the country, so don’t miss it! For more information about Dan, and for a history of Balboa, see the LindyCircle website.

Hi
My husband and I are really intersted in learning to dance Balboa. We live about 20 mins away from Cambridge in Saffron Walden. Realise I’ve just missed the March sessions - typical! but wondered if you might have some classes/workshops planned soon?
I would be very grateful if you could let met know.
Thanks very much
Colette
